Job Description

    Role Overview:You will be responsible for preparing competitive freight rates, handling rate negotiations, and coordinating with carriers and agents to secure the best possible deals. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and negotiation skills with in-depth knowledge of freight pricing and booking processes.Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and provide accurate freight quotations for sea, air, and land shipments.- Coordinate with carriers, overseas agents, and vendors to negotiate rates and secure competitive pricing.- Support the sales team by preparing timely rate proposals and ensuring quick turnaround for customer inquiries.- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor pricing to maintain competitiveness.- Update and maintain freight rates and contracts in the companys system (Ipack software).- Assist in booking and follow-up of shipments once rates are approved.- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure pricing aligns with operational capabilities and customer needs.- Prepare regular reports on pricing performance, margins, and profitability.- Maintain strong professional relationships with agents, carriers, and clients to enhance business opportunities.Qualifications Required:- Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding pricing and coordination.- Strong knowledge of freight rates, quoting procedures, and shipment booking processes.- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.- Proficiency in English/ Hindi (both written and spoken).- Ability to handle multiple inquiries and deliver results under tight deadlines.- Good analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with pricing/account software is an advantage.- Strong customer service orientation with attention to detail.About Us:HastenWay Shipping, with its Head Office in Dubai, is a trusted logistics and freight forwarding company delivering reliable, cost-effective, and customer-focused shipping solutions worldwide.
