Job Description

    As an experienced professional in the field of ship repair and marine maintenance, you will be responsible for the following key activities:- Overseeing all procurement activities for ship repair and marine maintenance projects.- Sourcing and developing vendors for marine spares, consumables, and specialized services.- Coordinating with technical and operational teams to ensure the timely delivery of materials.- Negotiating pricing, delivery terms, and contracts with vendors.- Ensuring compliance with internal procurement policies and statutory requirements.- Maintaining and monitoring inventory levels in collaboration with stores and warehouse teams.- Managing emergency procurement needs during dry dock or urgent repair activities.- Maintaining procurement documentation and vendor performance records.In addition to the above responsibilities, you will be required to have at least 5 years of experience in shipyard-ship repair. Proficiency in Hindi is also required for effective communication in this role.Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including health insurance and provident fund. The work schedule is during the day shift, and the work location is in person.,
