Public Relations Manager

Job Description

As a Public Relations (PR) Manager at Godspeed Immigration and Study Abroad Pvt Ltd, your role will involve managing and strengthening the companys public image by navigating the sensitive, complex, and compliance-driven nature of immigration law while maintaining clear, empathetic, and trustworthy communication with clients, media, and the wider community. You will need to combine legal understanding with excellent communication and people-management skills to ensure accuracy, compliance, and professionalism in all messaging.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement PR and communication strategies aligned with the companys vision and growth objectives.- Maintain consistent, compliant, and brand-aligned messaging across all platforms.- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and media outlets.- Respond to media inquiries promptly and professionally.- Draft, review, and edit press releases, articles, newsletters, blogs, website content, and social media posts.- Ensure all communication adheres to legal marketing guidelines and protects client confidentiality.- Develop crisis communication protocols for handling sensitive or controversial situations.- Plan and coordinate community outreach programs, legal awareness events, workshops, and webinars.- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure aligned messaging across departments, especially legal, HR, and operations.- Track media coverage, social media activity, and public sentiment to assess brand perception.- Ensure communication materials reflect diversity, inclusion, and linguistic accessibility.Qualifications & Skills:- Education: Bachelors degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Law, or related field. Masters degree OR legal qualifications (LLB/LLM) strongly preferred.- Experience: Minimum 5 to 9 years of experience in PR or communication roles. Experience in a law firm, corporate legal environment, or regulated industry is highly preferred.- Technical & Professional Skills: Strong understanding of immigration laws, legal processes, and ethical communication norms. Excellent writing, editing, and public-speaking abilities. Proficiency in PR tools, analytics platforms, and MS Office Suite. Multilingual skills are an added advantage.- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and people-management skills. Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to work under pressure with calmness and clarity. Strategic thinking and creativity in problem-solving.This job is full-time and permanent with the work location being in person.
