As a QA Lead at Resonate, you will have the freedom to be yourself and take ownership of supporting the QA capability offshore. The culture at Resonate values quality, innovation, and collaboration, providing exposure to global SaaS operations and startup dynamics.Your key responsibilities as a QA Lead will include:- Leading the India-based QA team to ensure high-quality deliverables through manual and automated testing- Collaborating with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC- Designing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for multiple projects- Driving automation efforts for optimal test coverage and code maintainability- Managing test environments, data, and releases with a focus on risk mitigation- Enhancing QA processes, maintaining documentation, and contributing to the teams test maturity- Reporting on QA metrics, identifying quality risks, and proactively suggesting improvement areasTo thrive in this role, you should:- Have 5 years of QA experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior QA role- Demonstrate leadership skills to drive cross-functional collaboration- Be a creative problem-solver with effective time management skills- Possess a collaborative mindset to achieve team goals- Take initiative, act with ownership, and communicate clearly both in writing and verbally- Stay curious, eager to learn, and energized by new challengesTechnically, you should:- Be proficient in test design, planning, and execution for manual and automated testing- Have experience with automation tools like Cypress, SpecFlow, or Playwright- Be familiar with BDD-style testing and Gherkin scenarios- Possess SQL skills, preferably with Microsoft SQL Server- Have worked with bug tracking systems, test management tools, and CI/CD integration- Understand Agile practices and the full software development life cycleEducation:- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related fieldIn this role, you will have opportunities for leadership development, travel to the Sydney office, hands-on experience in a cloud-native environment, exposure to cutting-edge technologies, and a chance to shape the direction of a growing global business.
