Job Description

    You will be part of Bloombloom, an innovative online-offline talent ecosystem operating in Kerala and beyond. The offline platform, B-HUB, based in Trivandrum, has been instrumental in facilitating employment opportunities, startups, and gig educators since 2016.As a Senior React & Next.js Developer, your primary responsibility will be to develop dynamic and high-performance web applications using React.js and Next.js. This role will involve working on both front-end and full-stack applications, collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to ensure top-notch user experiences. You will take ownership of projects, mentor junior developers, and drive continuous improvements in code quality and architecture.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain high-quality web applications utilizing React.js and Next.js.- Create reusable, maintainable, and efficient code components and libraries.- Collaborate with design and product teams to craft seamless user interfaces.- Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and SEO using Next.js SSR/SSG features.- Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to enhance team code quality.- Implement state management using Redux, Context API, or other contemporary solutions.- Lead architectural discussions and make technical decisions on projects.- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in front-end development.- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues to ensure a seamless user experience.- Mentor junior developers, aiding in their skill development and problem-solving.Required Skills and Experience:- 3 - 5 years of professional experience with React.js and Next.js.- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, and CSS3.- Deep knowledge of React hooks, component lifecycle, and state management (Redux, Context API, etc.).- Experience with Next.js, including SSR, SSG, and API routes.- Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.- Integration of APIs and working with RESTful and GraphQL services.- Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) and unit testing.- Knowledge of modern JavaScript build tools (Webpack, Babel) and version control systems (Git).- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and deployment strategies.- Web performance optimization techniques such as lazy loading, caching, and code splitting.- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently or in a team, and excellent communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with TypeScript and its integration into React & Next.js projects.- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Vercel, Netlify).- Knowledge of testing methodologies like TDD and BDD.- Exposure to other front-end frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, Angular) is a plus.- Previous Agile/Scrum environment experience.,
