Senior .NET Developer

Job Description

Role Overview:You will be a highly experienced and hands-on Senior.NET Developer with over 8 years of experience in software development, particularly focusing on.NET Core, Azure Cloud Services, and Azure DevOps. This client-facing role for a US-based client demands excellent communication skills, strong technical expertise, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain application features using.NET Core 6/8, C#, REST APIs, T-SQL, and AngularJS/ReactJS.- Provide application support and manage API integrations with third-party services.- Engage in full software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities, including planning, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices and architectural standards.- Lead and mentor junior developers by reviewing code and guiding them through technical challenges.- Troubleshoot and debug applications, ensuring software meets all quality and security standards.- Create and maintain technical documentation.- Ensure active participation in daily stand-ups and meetings aligned with US EST time zone.Qualification Required:- 8 years of hands-on development experience in C#, .NET technologies, SQL.- Minimum 2 years of experience in Azure Cloud Services.- Proficiency in .NET Core 6/8, Entity Framework/Core, Micro services architecture, Azure DevOps, and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).- Strong understanding of REST APIs, Unit Testing (xUnit, MSTest), and CI/CD pipelines (YAML or Classic).- Expertise in MS SQL Server writing SQL queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and performance tuning.- Experience with Application Support and third-party API Integrations.- Familiarity with software development methodologies like Agile/Scrum using tools like JIRA.- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Additional Company Details:The company focuses on Azure Skills including Azure Messaging Services (Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hub), Azure Storage (Blobs, Tables, Queues), Azure Functions/Durable Functions, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Logic Apps, CI/CD with Azure DevOps, Monitoring with Application Insights and Azure Monitoring, Security with Azure Key Vault, and SQL Azure.
