Job Description

    Role Overview:As a Senior Java Engineer at Milestone Technologies, your primary responsibility will be to support the development and enhancement of the integration engine and backend services. This will involve working with Spring Boot microservices, event-driven architecture, and various AWS-native components.Key Responsibilities:- Build, maintain, and optimize microservices utilizing Spring Boot.- Integrate services with AWS services such as SQS, Lambda, and others.- Collaborate effectively with frontend and DevOps teams to ensure end-to-end solutions are delivered.- Address performance issues, technical debt, and conduct codebase refactoring as needed.Qualification Required:Must-Have Skills:- Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.- Strong proficiency in Java 11, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.- Hands-on experience working with AWS services like Lambda, SQS, and RDS.- Proficient in containerization using Docker.- Familiarity with GitLab pipelines and agile workflows.Good To Have:- Knowledge of OpenTofu or Terraform.- Experience in designing event-driven systems.- Previous exposure to WMS, logistics, or e-commerce platforms.Note: The compensation and employment offers will be based on your job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, and location.
