Job Description

    As a Senior Software Tester specializing in the banking domain, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing strategies. With 5 to 12 years of experience, you will bring extensive expertise in automation, API testing, and performance testing to our team.Your primary responsibilities will include owning the design, development, and execution of test plans and test cases for banking applications. You will be involved in developing and executing test scripts for API and application testing, with a focus on performance and security testing. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall quality assurance process.In this role, you will design and implement testing frameworks and tools to improve testing efficiency. You will participate in the CI/CD pipeline to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing testing insights throughout the software development lifecycle, collaborating with product owners, business analysts, and developers.As a mentor to junior testers, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the testing team. Your role will also involve analyzing test results, reporting defects, and overseeing manual and automated testing processes. By identifying, documenting, and managing defects in collaboration with development teams, you will ensure timely resolution and validation.Your proficiency in API testing, performance testing, and knowledge of automated testing tools will be essential in this role. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, CI/CD processes, and banking regulations will be highly advantageous. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are key attributes that will contribute to your success as a Senior Software Tester in the banking domain.This position offers an opportunity to stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing.
