Job Description

As a Senior Engineering Manager at Linnk Group, you will be responsible for leading and growing high-performing backend engineering teams to architect and deliver innovative SaaS and AI-driven platforms. Your role will involve owning technical strategy, managing a team of 8-10 engineers, collaborating with product stakeholders, and balancing technical leadership with people management.Key Responsibilities:- Team & People Leadership - Manage, mentor, and grow a team of 8-10 backend engineers - Conduct performance reviews, career development planning, and coaching - Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous learning - Drive hiring, onboarding, and team expansion as the organization scales- Technical Leadership & Execution - Define and communicate technical strategy and architecture for backend services - Guide design, development, and maintenance of scalable Node.js systems - Oversee API design (REST/GraphQL), database architecture (PostgreSQL/MongoDB), and microservices deployments - Ensure backend systems meet standards of scalability, performance, and security - Review and approve designs, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices- Delivery & Cross-Functional Collaboration - Align engineering execution with product roadmaps and business priorities - Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure seamless delivery - Anticipate risks, manage dependencies, and drive predictable delivery timelines - Evangelize engineering excellence and contribute to company-wide technical strategyQualifications Required:- Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field- 10-15 years of professional software development experience, with at least 5 years in technical leadership and team management- Strong background in Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6), and backend frameworks (Express.js/NestJS)- Proven expertise with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, schema design, and distributed systems- Deep experience with microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, and large-scale system design- Demonstrated success in leading teams of 8-10 engineers to deliver complex products- Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders As a Senior Engineering Manager at Linnk Group, you will be responsible for leading and growing high-performing backend engineering teams to architect and deliver innovative SaaS and AI-driven platforms.
