Job Description

    As a Senior Product Manager at SOTI, you will be responsible for managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities. This includes ensuring alignment with broader business objectives, specifying market requirements for current and future products through market research, and driving a solution set across development teams by authoring requirements and user stories. Your role will involve daily interaction with software developers and testers, guiding teams on strategic priorities, as well as mentoring and supporting junior Product Managers to provide guidance on best practices and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.Your responsibilities will also include working closely with Marketing to produce product collateral, sales tools, and go-to-market strategies, training Sales Support and Technical Support in product use and operations, and supporting the Sales team during the sales process including assistance with demonstrations and deployments for large opportunities or key customers. Additionally, you will attend industry conferences and trade shows to promote product positioning and gather market insights, while maintaining a current knowledge of competitive product positioning, feature sets, messaging, and industry trends to ensure products meet market demands.The experience you bring to the role should include a minimum of 3 years as a Senior Product Manager or 7 years as a Product Manager in an Enterprise Software company, with additional experience in a senior or lead role preferred. You should have demonstrated success in defining and launching high-impact products, an excellent understanding of software development processes, product life cycle, and agile methodologies, as well as strong written, communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills. The ability to interact professionally with diverse customers and internal stakeholders, create and deliver presentations and training sessions, and customize messaging for different audiences is essential.Moreover, you should possess proven multi-tasking and problem-resolution skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively, work independently, and partner effectively across teams to achieve business results. Experience in mentoring or coaching team members, fostering a collaborative team environment, and a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field are preferred. A strong understanding of current software technologies, market trends, and strategic positioning, as well as experience with Android, Mac OS X, Linux, and Windows Server platforms, will be advantageous. This role also involves travel and trade show attendance, requiring the maintenance of a valid passport at all times.
