Your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI. You will also be responsible for architecting and implementing microservices-based solutions, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring high performance and availability of the systems.**Key Responsibilities:**- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI.- Architect and implement microservices-based solutions, ensuring high availability and performance.- Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and performance tuning (SQL and NoSQL).- Lead a team of developers, mentor junior team members, and oversee code quality through code reviews.- Gather and analyze technical and business requirements directly from clients and stakeholders.- Contribute to architectural decisions and technology strategy.- Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, security, and deployment.- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement.**Required Skills and Qualifications:**- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in backend development using Python.- Strong experience with FastAPI or similar modern Python frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django REST Framework).- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and API versioning.- Solid knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).- Expertise in designing and building microservices architectures.- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git).- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot production issues.- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.- Proven ability to lead teams, manage tasks, and deliver projects on time.- Insurance domain knowledge is preferred**Preferred Qualifications:**- Experience with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.- Knowledge of event-driven architectures, message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).- Exposure to infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).- Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.You will be part of a dynamic team where your contributions will be valued, and you will have the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally.
