As a Senior Software Engineer at Fingent, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a multicultural team based in Kochi (Kerala, India) and work on solving complex business challenges with beautiful and compelling software.**Key Responsibilities:**- Produce well-organized, optimized, and documented source code.- Be well versed in development platforms and best practices.- Have good knowledge in unit testing frameworks.- Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.- Attend client calls to understand customer needs and feedback on items delivered.- Collaborate cross-functionally with business users, project managers, and other engineers to deliver elegant solutions to customers.- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.- Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.- Attention to detail is essential, and all tasks must be carried out to the highest standard.**Qualifications Required:**- Build new Web-based systems with C#.NET, ASP.NET MVC Framework.- Experience in .Net Core, Angular 2 is an added advantage.- Must have strong experience in OOPS concepts, jQuery, Web API, Entity Framework, LINQ.- Good to have exposure to Cloud computing MS Azure, SQL Azure, AppFabric.- Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices.- Strong experience designing and working with scalable architectures.- The ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.In this role, you will need 5-8 years of experience to excel and contribute effectively in the team.
