Job Description

    You should have 4 - 7 years of experience in L2 monitoring. As a part of the team, you will be responsible for leading the Site reliability engineering team. Your role will involve planning schedules and shift plans for the team, managing tickets, and assigning tasks to team members. It is essential to work collaboratively with your peers and management while ensuring transparent communication with the customer. Your guidance and support to team members will be crucial for the successful operation of the team.In this role, you will be required to record and track team SLAs and workflows, ensuring that monitoring systems and procedures align with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and security policies. Implementation of metrics-driven processes to maintain service quality will be a key aspect of your responsibilities.To excel in this position, you should possess knowledge of monitoring tools like Zabbix, Nagios, etc., and familiarity with ticketing systems such as Zoho Desk and JIRA. Strong problem-solving skills, especially in investigating and analyzing recurring issues, are essential. Hands-on experience with Linux fundamentals, system administration, scripting, performance tuning, etc., will be advantageous.Your ability to think under pressure and basic knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, as well as networking, routing, and switching, will be beneficial for this role. Effective communication and documentation skills are also required to succeed in this position.,
