Job Description

Your duties will include designing, developing, testing, and optimizing PostgreSQL databases to ensure seamless support for company applications and services. This role will require you to focus on database design and implementation, performance tuning, query optimization, and maintaining data security. Collaboration with development teams is essential to align database solutions with application requirements effectively.To excel in this role, you should possess at least 5 years of experience in PostgreSQL, covering database design, development, and performance optimization. Proficiency in SQL and database query optimization is essential, along with hands-on experience in database security and backup/recovery operations. Familiarity with Linux/UNIX operating systems is preferred, and excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are required. A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is necessary, and experience with other database management systems would be an added advantage.
