Job Description

    As a Tax Specialist at Strada, you will be responsible for serving as the subject matter expert and escalation point for all tax-related activities for the assigned client(s). Your role will involve various responsibilities, including:- Daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation at the employee level- Preparation of periodic and amendment reporting- Maintenance of tax issue log and hosting regular review meetings with the client(s)- Performing UAT for tax updates and system enhancements- Participating in cross-departmental initiatives to ensure proper consideration of tax-impacting changes- Addressing complex tax questions received via case from Employee Service Center- Serving as the lead for all tax-related projects and M&A activities for assigned client(s)- Undertaking any other duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor and/or managerTo excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:- Advanced skills in MS Excel, including V-Lookup, Pivot Tables, and Macros- Subject Matter Expertise in North America Tax, mapping, reporting, and analysis- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Advanced analytical and problem-solving ability- A 3-year Degree/Diploma- Flexibility towards shift work, as the position may require long hours and weekend workAt Strada, our values shape our actions:- Anticipate Customer Needs- Own the Outcome- Challenge Ourselves to Work Smarter- Empower Each Other to Solve Problems- Care About Our WorkAdditionally, Strada offers a comprehensive benefits package that supports your health, wellbeing, finances, and future.
