Job Description

As a Senior IT Administrator at 2COMS in Kolkata, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day IT management, technical escalations, vendor management, cybersecurity, audits, and data continuity to ensure 24/7 system reliability. If you have a minimum of 3 years of experience in incident management, IT infrastructure, networking, or cloud operations and can ensure SLA-based service delivery with the ability to take initiatives, we would like to hear from you!**Key Responsibilities:**- Infrastructure Monitoring & Uptime Management - Monitor business uptime, network stability, servers, internet, and cloud services. - Ensure proactive monitoring to minimize downtime and service disruptions. - Mentor Team to manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across systems.- Service Delivery - Support the IT Administration team, ensuring proper handling and closure of incident/service tickets within defined TAT. - Conduct periodic performance reviews, audits, and training sessions to improve IT team productivity and quality assurance. - Provide guidance on escalated technical issues and day-to-day bottlenecks.- Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery - Manage data lifecycle processes including backup, archival, and recovery strategies. - Responsible for implementing and testing Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) processes.- Vendor & Cost Management - Oversee IT vendor management, procurement, and financial settlement of service providers, hardware, software vendors, and cloud partners. - Optimize technology and cloud service costs while ensuring service quality.- Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Enhancement - Implement robust online infrastructure and cybersecurity frameworks. - Conduct risk assessments, audits, and periodic security reviews. - Ensure compliance with IT security and organizational policies.- Asset & Knowledge Management - Ensure accurate IT Asset Management protocols are implemented by the IT Team for all organizational assets. - Conduct IT awareness and technology training programs for employees. - Coordinate with organizational stakeholders on improvement and adoption of new technologies.**Qualification Required:**- Any Graduate (Preferred in Computer Science, IT)If you are a hands-on problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced tech environment and can balance technical depth, team handling with a drive for constant innovation, then this role is for you.
