Contract QA / Testing Consultant

Job Description

As a Contract QA / Testing Consultant for the Digital JDP (Jutro Digital Platform), your role will involve supporting testing for Guidewire Digital / Jutro Digital Platform (JDP) portals across Agent, Broker, and Customer journeys. Your responsibilities will be critical in validating UX flows, integrations with InsuranceSuite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter), and ensuring seamless end-to-end digital experiences.Key Responsibilities:- Analyze UX designs, user journeys, and user stories for Digital JDP applications.- Design and execute functional, integration, and regression test cases for web and (if in scope) mobile flows.- Test end-to-end journeys spanning Digital JDP PolicyCenter/BillingCenter/ClaimCenter and external services.- Validate API calls and messages between JDP and backend services (REST/JSON), including error handling.- Verify layout, responsiveness, cross-browser behavior, and basic accessibility expectations.- Log, triage, and re-test defects using standard tools; collaborate closely with Digital developers and UX teams.- Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing accurate test effort estimates and status updates.- Support test data management for portal core system flows.- Contribute to smoke/regression packs for CI pipelines where applicable.Qualifications Required:- Proven experience as a QA / Web tester for enterprise web applications.- Hands-on testing of Guidewire Digital / Jutro / JDP or comparable React-based portals.- Strong understanding of JSON, and browser developer tools for network/console analysis.- Experience testing front-end/back-end integrations with core insurance or similar transactional systems.- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools.- Comfortable working in Agile teams with rapid iterations.- Strong analytical and communication skills.- Prior experience on Guidewire JDP implementations for PC/BC/CC.- Basic API testing with tools like Postman.- Experience with UI automation (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Tosca) for portal regression.- Guidewire Digital/JDP or InsuranceSuite certifications preferred.
