We are looking for an Android developer responsible for the development of application that provide ordering experience and should have multi-lingual support. Your primary focus will be making the application which integrates with our backend services. Youll be dealing with consumer based application. Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential. Responsibilities - Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code - Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code - Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application - Help maintaining the code quality and build reusable components. Skills - Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android and their limitations, and how to deal with different screen sizes - Know how to give support for multi-lingual apps. - Familiarity with MVVM architecture and data binding will be a Plus. - Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services - Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices - Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements - Familiarity with GCM/FCM and push notifications - Good understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git - Have Fair Experience on making customising Views and complex layouts. - Have worked with ORM tools like GreenDao (Sqlite), Realm Database. Strong hold on sql database. - Experience of creating android HomeScreen Widgets. - Worked on alarm services and intents. Pre-Requisites - 1+ year of experience in Android app development. - Solid understanding of Android application basics: Activities, Services, Intents, Content Providers Proficient in using native UI components, widgets and layout design Ease in working across devices and Android versions. - Experience in working with RESTful API with JSON. - Grasp of Java, Data Structures and Algorithms, OOPS. - Knowledge of concepts like Push Notifications, Accounts, Sync framework, Search,Content Provider & SQLite. - Familiarity with commonly used libraries. Responsibilities - Design the architecture of native android application. - Write a clean, fast and maintainable code for android app. - Research on latest trends in android development and evaluate and incorporate the same in the application. - Build a great product. ,
