Roles and Responsibilities:Scope

• This role reports directly to the Director Information Technology India and Middle East.
• This role supports the growth of business through automation and process improvements
• This role is focused on collaborating with senior business stakeholders, global & regional IT teams within each business group/division to develop/ optimize strategic and operational capabilities around organization, process, and tools/systems
• The individual will be accountable for providing IT process, application, and project management leadership for new and existing technology solutions.
• The Senior Manager will provide leadership and work direction to both internal and external IT resources.

Key Responsibilities(70%) Business Partnership & Relationship Management

• Partner with IT and business leaders in the development of medium term and long term strategies on automation and digital technologies
• Provide leadership for planning, development, delivery and coordination of information services and initiatives ensuring they are aligned to the business strategic imperatives
• Provide leadership to ensure the business requirements are understood and priorities are aligned and delivered
• Develop and leverage a deep understanding of the business requirements and be the bridge between business needs and IT technical roadmaps
• Budgeting, development, integration and delivery of complex information systems projects and enhancements through all phases of the project life cycle
• Provide status reporting to IT and regional leadership; escalate and manage risks at the appropriate levels within IT and the business
• Collaborate effectively with IT colleagues to ensure prioritized business objectives are met
• Objectively analyze strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of current and planned people and organizational capabilities and determine appropriate solutions
• Adapt to change and determine creative, cost effective solutions for business challenges
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with the business & IT management leadership team
• Provide business process design and guidance to the business and support functions
• Lead and drive digital transformation across the enterprise

(30%) People Development

• Actively evaluate and develop people and organizational capabilities in order to set and execute a human resource strategy which accelerates business growth and drives value
• Mentor and educate within and across the team to ensure a stronger overall IT organization
• Manage the plans and activities of a team of managers, employees, and external contractors in order to achieve stated objectives

Requirements

• Broad operational IT experience in a large company environment
• Bachelor s degree in information technology or equivalent
• 12 to 15 years experience as an IT manager in a high volume, large organization
• Strong attention to detail
• Must have expertise with ERP systems (Oracle E1 & SAP) or other enterprise applications in one or more of the following functional IT areas (expertise in more than one is a plus):
  • Quote to Cash processes, partnership with key users on quote to cash functionality/transactions activities
  • Work with Business Analyst, System Analyst and technical architects/developers. acts as an enabler between the business community who have business objectives they need to achieve and the IT department, which offers solutions that make possible business success
• Robotic Process Automation experience (RPA) is a plus
• Lead digital technologies drive ecommerce business and digital transformation program

• Must be self-confident, assertive and self-motivated. Demonstrated ability to work with business users to define requirements and to articulate and compare alternative approaches to derive recommendations.
• Proven track record of producing deliverables and working independently to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work effectively as a member of a team in a highly matrix-reporting environment.
• Must be able to work with and effectively communicate (listen, speak, present and write) to all levels of management and employees. Must be able to build working relationship with others outside of the Team.
• Ability to multi-task and work with complex cross-functional teams in a very fast-paced environment.
• Experience working as a member of a multi-national corporation (e.g. experience being a part of a regional team that works heavily with a corporate/global team is a plus).
