Job Description

    Job Summary
    • The EHS Audit & Governance Leader is responsible for assisting in efforts to maintain compliance, reduce risk and deliver EHS excellence through designing and implementation of a robust and consistent governance and audit Framework.
    • The role reports to the Corp Head- EHS & Sustainability. This role will be responsible for setting the expectations for governance, audit, risk analysis and compliance, driving standardization & framework for the governance program across India & other countries, partnering cross functionally to drive sustainable improvement.
    • Finally, this role will also provide input and support the wider EHS Business teams as we work to build one successful EHS team.
    • Location is flexible, working from any of the offices, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad.
    • Design & lead the Audit & Governance program across all business , all geography , coordinating cross-functionally to drive consistent application and implementation across the business.
    • Lead efforts to make regulatory determinations for emergent issues and remain current and/or develop necessary understanding of EHS regulations.
    • Develop and drive Audit framework & Support strategy to proactively maintain Tata Project regulatory compliance and/or industry standard across.
    • Should be able to develop counter measures where deviation is identified.
    • Partner with other EHS / Business resources to set the standard for auditor qualification and training expectations and coach team members accordingly.
    • Provide EHS leadership for Governance program and drive continuous improvement and operational effectiveness of the compliance assurance program through auditing, data validation and support business reviews.
    • Analysis of findings, trends, and metrics for statistical trends, and assist in development of action plans to drive program improvements.
    • Serve as a coach and mentor to Business EHS teams to build and implement robust compliance / governance processes, audit skills and hazard recognition.
    Criteria:
    • Diploma/ BE / B-Tech / M-Tech in Engineering + Full-time Post Diploma Industrial Safety/M-Tech Industrial Safety / Construction Safety from recognized institute.
    • Have domain expertise in one or more of the following: Electrical Safety and LOTO requirements, crane safety, construction safety, fall prevention, confined space
    • Experience and demonstrated achievements with EHS Framework, Governance safety programs, digitized systems, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
    • Medical fitness and ability to work at height with harness etc.
    • Fluent English with strong communication skills (verbal and written)
    Desired Characteristics
    • Relevant EHS experience in compliance assurance and/or digitized tool management
    • Ability to work in a EPC environment, influence and motivate diverse teams to achieve a unified goal
    • Able to coach and support key influencers to drive EHS compliance and the reduction of risk through team engagement and help develop an organizational culture that prioritizes EHS.
    • Knowledge of EHS management systems, demonstrated ability to manage multiple issues with competing priorities
    • Confidently able to facilitate and deliver training and or presentations to a diverse audience
    • High energy, self-starter and demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders.
    • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
