Our Client looking for an experienced Mobile Game Developer to help build and improve fun and effective phonics based learning games for kids! Client into an educational technology start-up dedicated to helping kids acquire the skills they need to be a fluent reader.The role is located in Mumbai India and reports to the Head of Software in India.Responsibilities:1)Design and implement new systems and pipelines Create and/modify game engines based on design documents2)Optimize and fine tune code for performance Work closely with QA to help define test cases.3)Perform code review and mentor junior developer in code optimization.4)Debug and fix issues as they come up in the development process .5)Maintain existing code base with other team members .6)Tackle new challenges that arise during development .7)Work with teams located in China .Requirements:1)Game developer (with experience in Unity) Have a firm understanding of core engineering best practice, programming concepts, methods and logic Have a firm understanding of mobile development cycle best practices.2)Able to articulate game architecture to non-technical team members .3)Must have some experience developing in unity 3D development4)Ability to rapid prototype and iterate quickly Strong attention to detail, rigorous in self-testing code and delivering high-quality work.5)Experience developing for IOS and Android Debug and fix issues as they come up in the development process Able to work with teams in China.6)Experience with bug tracking system.7)Experience with SDK integration8)Experience with version control software .9)Experience working on web-connected mobile games10)Experience developing kids games Familiar with agile development Must have shipped games on iOS and Android.Required Languages: C# Main, Objective-C, Swift Xcode, JavaRequired Coding Skills: Back-end/server communication Demonstrate experience in the most efficient ways to implement solutions with respect to memory and execution speed.
