Job Description

    Hello,I am Jyotika from an executive search firm which is a company specializing in recruitment across the industry. Writing to you with regards to an opportunity with a Leading Bank.Role - Legal AssociateLocation - Mumbai SuburbsResponsibilities:1. Documentation & Contract Support
    • Assist in drafting and reviewing standard contracts, loan agreements, NDAs, and vendor/service provider agreements.
    • Maintain and update legal document repositories and templates.
    2. Legal Research & Advisory
    • Conduct legal research on banking laws, RBI circulars, regulations, and case laws.
    • Provide preliminary legal opinions and notes under supervision of senior counsel.
    3. Litigation & Case Management
    • Track and maintain database of ongoing litigation and legal notices.
    • Coordinate with external counsel and assist in preparing briefs, filings, and responses.
    4. Regulatory & Compliance Support
    • Support compliance with RBI guidelines, Companies Act, Contract Act, and other applicable statues.
    • Assist in preparing legal and compliance-related reports for internal stakeholders.
    5. Stakeholder Coordination
    • Work closely with business, operations, HR, and risk teams for legal support.
    • Liaise with external counsel, regulatory bodies, and statutory authorities as needed.
    Ideal Applicant: -1. Total Experience: 0 to 3 years2. Educational Qualification: LLB or LLM3.
