Job Description

    Roles & ResponsibilitiesRole Overview:Companyis seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Standard & Bill Certification Specialist to join our dynamic team. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that all our construction projects adhere to the highest quality standards and that bills are certified accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in civil engineering and a proven track record of working with large construction companies or large format projects.Responsibilities:Quality Standard Management:Develop and implement comprehensive quality control procedures for all construction projects to ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations. Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess the quality of construction work, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to address any quality-related issues and provide expert solutions.Bill Certification: Review and verify contractor bills and invoices to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications. Verify the measurements and quantities of completed work against contractual agreements and approved rates. Work closely with the finance and procurement teams to facilitate smooth and timely processing of bill certifications.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and organized records of quality control activities, inspection reports, and bill certification documents. Prepare regular reports on quality performance and bill certification status for managements review. Provide necessary documentation and support during audits and project evaluations.Compliance and Training: Keep abreast of industry best practices, building codes, and regulations related to quality standards and billing practices. Conduct training sessions for project teams to enhance their understanding of quality requirements and bill certification processes.Requirements:Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.Work Experience: Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience in construction with a strong focus on quality control and bill certification.Proven track record of working with large construction companies or large format projects.Thorough knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methodologies.Familiarity with relevant laws, codes, and regulations pertaining to construction quality and billing.Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Proficiency in computer applications related to quality management and billing.
