The SFDC Release Manager will be a bridge between the Capability Towers Scrum teams and the technical deployment team They will work closely with the scrum teams planning out their Scrum deploymentsThey will define and confirm the exact scope of the deployment developing the Release Manifest in terms of user stories They will also validate the Release Manifest in terms of release readiness ensuring that all Jira tasks required for all user stories are completedA critical aspect of this role will be to notify scrum teams if planned deployments are not actually ready for deployment as defined by the Agile task gates This role is a critical gate keeper to ensure that items not ready for deployment do not get promoted They will also confirm that the Release in Jira is properly defined as containing all items and no additional items as defined in the Release Manifest The Release Manager will maintain and communicate the deployment schedule for all planned deployments The Release Manager will manage the appropriate structure in the deployment management system of record This is currently TeamUp and will be Copado once that system is operational This role will track the movement of deployments along the release train coordinating as appropriate between the Scrum teams and the Deployment team Skills Understanding of Salesforce and the Salesforce deployment process Project Management Strong communications and coordination skills Ability to be a strong gatekeeper and not allow items that are not ready to be deployed Working Knowledge of TeamUp Understanding of Jira and agile process Copado when implemented Ability to take ambiguous objectives and define a clear deployment manifest Strong planning and scheduling ability,
