Job Description

  • Designing website layouts as per client brief and keeping in mind the desired end user experience.
  • Schedule projects and define project timelines.
  • Give guidance/suggestions/recommendations on layout, colours, fonts and styles.
  • Understanding client feedback to incorporate design changes in web layouts.
  • To be up-to-date with current trends in web-design.
  • Working closely with client servicing team and development team to meet task deadlines.
  • Reporting to the project manager about the work status and deliverables and taking down new briefs.
  • Test the website and understand any technical problems before it is sent to the client.
Specific Skills:
  • Good eye for finesse in design and knowledge of SEO and mobile responsive design principles, e-commerce layouts & UI/UX best practices.
  • Prepare rough drafts/wireframes and present ideas/flow of UI/UX. Prototyping of the wireframes to get preliminary approval on the website design approach.
  • Experience working on strategic design, implementation and configuration.
  • Should provide design layouts as per the approved wireframes / prototypes for desktop (if required mobile as well).
  • Getting the design layouts reviewed by team before it is sent to the client.
  • Should provide rendered design assets (SVG icons, sprites, banners, etc.) as per requirements to the development team.
  • Should have understanding of fonts and its correct usage. Which appropriate fonts to choose, size, web-safe, etc.
  • Should have knowledge and understanding of HTML and web based platforms and technology (Ruby, CSS and Javascript) (Optional).
