Job Description

Key Responsibilities1.Monthly payroll processing

  • To address all queries related to payroll and checking the draft pay sheet and resolving the queries / discrepancies observed before final payroll.
  • Checking the final payroll and ensuring disbursal to the employees on the last day of the calendar month
2.Payroll accounting
  • Ensuring that all Accounting codes are accurately mapped to the Employees.
  • Generating the Salary JV andother Payroll related costs like Provisions and Reimbursement.
  • Reconciliation of Payroll cost with GL
3.Statutory Liabilities
  • Generating the statutory reports and reconciling the Same with Accounting records and sending the same to stakeholders for making the payment
  • Ensuring the Statutory liabilities for the month are in agreement with the Books of Accounts
  • Ensuring the timely remittance of statutory liabilities
4.Statutory Audit & Liaison with Vendors
  • Liaison with the Statutory and Internal Auditors
  • Provident Fund details to the Vendor and payment to authorities
  • Statutory Inspection under PF / ESIC / PT / LWF
  • TDS Details for the Returns
5.Full and Final settlement of Employees6.Gratuity Settlement.7.Timely statutory remittance of PF and ESIC.8.Timely Remittances of other statutory bodies like Income Tax , Profession Tax and LWFKnowledge / Education
  • 5-6 yrs minimum experience in managing payroll, compliances, HR Ops & shared services
