Job Description

    Hii,Greetings from Avaniconsulting !We are hiring for EHS Associate for a leading pharmaceutical companyPosition-EHS AssociateWork Experience - 3 yearsLocation - MysoreSalary- 3-6 LPAQualification-Post graduate in Science / BEwith Industrial Safety (regular)Roles and Responsibilities1. Monitoring the operation && maintenance of EHS system.2. Issuing work permits related to Hot work, Height work, confined space, excavation work permitspertaining to project site work && operation.3. Inspection of EHS activity in each shift including both the production plants covering the overallsite.4. Conducting workplace survey study for all the plant as per the procedure.5. Maintain healthy working condition of the Multi gas detector, oxygen meter, lux meter, Noisedosimeter, Ambient air quality monitoring equipments6. Inspection of Fire hydrant system && Fire extinguisher, Fire alarm system as per the company EHSguidelines.7. Inspection of PPE's, Safety Shower, and First aid boxes as per the planner8. Ensuring the safety rules && procedures followed by all the employees.9. Coordination for conducting mock drill && EHS safety committee meeting.10. Follow up and completion of near miss report CAPA's.11. Coordination safety induction && fire training to new employees.12. Ensuring the availability of MSDS for all the chemicals.13. Monitoring operation && maintenance of ETP && STP plant on shift wise basis14. Maintenance and Calibration of ambient air quality && noise level measuring devices.15. Upkeep of documents pertaining to EHS and compliance to statutory and statutory norms.16. Ensuring the hazardous waste disposal procedure followed in the facility17. Coordination with cross functional team for new process safety analysis.18. Execution of modification works compliance to safety norms.19. Conducting monthly safety inspection as per the EHS planner procedure.20. Inspection of emergency safety cupboard inspection of (SCBA, ELCB, Fire axe, Fire suit,Aluminum ladder, Water gel blanket) etc.21. Monitoring of Spill control Kit in all the available areas.22. Ensuring Nonhazardous waste && hazardous waste disposed as per the company procedure.23. Conducting risk assessment for the new activity24. Handing the emergency situation in the plant or vicinity in coordination with the site controller &&incident controller in 24*7.25. Conducting the mock drill in night shift also.26. Ensuring the healthy working condition of all the emergency gadgets equipments.27. Inspection of fire hydrant pump on daily basis wise && as per the planner.28. Inspection of Sprinkler system as per the Company guidelines.Competencies required: Should have good attitude && Behavior Should have good communication skills Should have time and work priority management.
