Job Description

    Mining Planning & Design EngineerIndustry Type ConsultancyLocation NagpurFunctional Area Natural Resources & Energy SectorsMinimum Qualifications UG/PG Degree in Mining EngineeringMinimum Experience Atleast Six (6) Years in Field in Coal MiningOperations, Mine Economics & preparation ofDPR/Feasibility Report is essentialDesirable Working Knowledge of Mine Planning &Scheduling Softwares like MINEX / DATAMINE /VULCAN etc.Salary At par with industry standardsKey Responsibilities:Shall lead the Mining Team in various Consultancy / Transaction Advisoryassignments.Shall have to undertake extensive Data-search related to latest developmentsin the Mining and Natural Resources sectors (both on National & Internationalfronts)Shall lead the team in identifying new opportunities for growth anddiversificationShall have to meet specified time-bound targets not only in terms of number ofmandates executed but also in quality of outputs.Eligibility:Should have hands on experience in Mechanized Underground / OpencastMining.Should be able to demonstrate quantitative and analytical practices related tothe Mining and Natural Resources.Should be able to undertake detailed cost and financial analysis for green field& brown field Mining Projects & development of Financial Models.Should be able to demonstrate team spirit while working with a diverse team ofprofessionals.Should be conversant with preparation of Feasibility Report/Detailed ProjectReport /Tender documents etc.Desired Profile:Bachelors /Masters Degree from a leading university in Mining Engineering.Previous coal mining experience of at least Ten (6) years is must, preferably inCoal Sector or other Mining PSU / Private Sector CorporatesWorking Knowledge of Mine Planning & Scheduling Software like MINEX /DATAMINE / VULCAN etc. will be desirable.Should lead the team in evaluation of various Techno-commercial options interms of Mining Methodology & Equipment Configuration, Evaluation of latesttechnological options and Estimation of CAPEX & OPEX for various Opencast andUnderground Projects etc.Prior experience of working with a consultancy organization is desirable.Should have knowledge of Underground and Opencast Coal miningTechnologies.Good Costing & Financial analysis skills pertaining to the sector is essential.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with specific ability tocommunicate concepts and ideas concisely and defend their validity would bean important criterionAbility to comfortably interact with clients in a professional and maturemannerComfort in and commitment to strong teamwork environmentHighly organized, detail oriented and proactiveSound working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is a must.Willingness to travel is a mustJob Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits: Provident FundSchedule: Morning shiftWork Location: In person,
