    Job Summary: HRLocation: NagpurDepartment: Human ResourcesReports To: HR ManagerJob Summary: The HR Generalist is a key member of the human resources team in the retail industry, responsible for overseeing various HR functions to support the organizations goals. This role involves managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and training and development. The company is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and fostering a culture of sustainability and innovation.Key Responsibilities: Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and hiring. Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation and onboarding programs. Ensure a smooth and positive onboarding experience for new employees. Employee Relations: Address employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support. Facilitate conflict resolution and maintain a positive work environment. Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve retention strategies. Performance Management: Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems. Support managers in conducting performance reviews and providing constructive feedback. Identify and address performance issues, implementing improvement plans as necessary. Training and Development: Coordinate and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Identify training needs through surveys, interviews, and performance data analysis. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs. Compliance and Policy Management: Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations. Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation. Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures. Compensation and Benefits: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies. Assist in salary administration and ensure equitable and competitive compensation practices. Provide guidance on compensation-related matters. HR Reporting and Analytics: Generate and analyze HR reports and metrics to support decision-making. Monitor key HR indicators, such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and training effectiveness. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis. Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and morale. Organize employee events, recognition programs, and team-building activities. Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and analyze results to improve workplace culture. Health and Safety: Promote a safe and healthy work environment. Assist in implementing health and safety policies and procedures. Address workplace safety concerns and incidents promptly.Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 8-15 years of experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in the retail industry. Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred Qualifications: HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR). Experience with HRIS systems. Knowledge of retail industry trends and challenges.Working Conditions: Typical office environment with some travel to retail locations as needed.
