Job Description

    Job Title: Head of OperationsJob Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Operations to oversee and optimize the day-to-day operations of the company. This senior leadership role is responsible for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of all operational processes, aligning with business objectives, and driving improvements across departments to meet performance goals.Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement operational strategies to support company growth and objectives. Oversee all operational aspects of the business, including production, supply chain, logistics, customer service, and quality control. Collaborate with senior leadership teams (e.g., CEO, CFO) to define business goals and operational priorities. Lead and manage operational teams, setting clear performance targets and KPIs. Monitor the performance of departments, ensuring they operate efficiently and within budget constraints. Streamline processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices to optimize workflow and reduce costs. Manage and oversee the companys supply chain, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of goods and services. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying training needs and promoting professional development for operational teams. Analyze operational data and generate reports to evaluate performance and inform strategic decisions. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies. Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost control and resource allocation are within company standards. Act as a key liaison between operations and other departments (e.g., sales, marketing, finance). Drive initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and operational excellence.Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Masters degree preferred). Proven experience (5 years) in a senior operations or leadership role. Strong understanding of operational processes, project management, and performance optimization. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience in managing cross-functional teams. In-depth knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, and cost management. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in operational software tools (e.g., ERP, CRM systems, project management software).Preferred Skills: Experience in the industry specific to the business (e.g., manufacturing, logistics, tech, retail). Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement certifications. Knowledge of supply chain management and logistics. Experience with change management and organizational transformation.Work Environment: This position is typically office-based with occasional travel to operational sites or partner locations.
