Job Description

    Job Title: Quality ManagerLocation: NagpurDepartment: Quality AssuranceJob Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to oversee and manage the overall quality assurance operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products and services meet required standards, quality procedures, and customer expectations. The role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain the organizations Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma). Lead and manage the quality assurance team to ensure product quality from design through production and delivery. Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to monitor the effectiveness of the quality management system and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, R&D, and supply chain, to improve quality and ensure compliance with internal and external standards. Develop and manage quality control procedures, methodologies, and policies. Ensure products meet customer expectations, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Review customer feedback and complaints, providing solutions to address quality issues and improving customer satisfaction. Analyze root causes of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) as needed. Prepare and deliver reports on quality performance metrics, including defects, rework, and customer returns. Ensure that employees are properly trained on quality standards, tools, and procedures. Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation plans to maintain product and process quality. Stay current with industry best practices, regulations, and technological advancements related to quality management.Requirements: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (Masters preferred). Proven experience (8 years) in a Quality Management role, preferably within [industry type]. Strong knowledge of quality standards, such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and Lean principles. Experience with quality management software (e.g., SAP, QMS platforms). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of management and employees. Ability to lead and inspire a team and drive change across departments. Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.,
