Job Description

    Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (civil engineer)Job Type: Full TimeExperience: 5-6 yearsLocation: GPO Square, BG 1 & 2, Swami Sadan Apartments, behind YES Bank, Civil Lines, Nagpur, Maharashtra 440001Responsibilities: Cost Management: Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities. Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors and, where appropriate, negotiate with the contractors. Control all stages of projects within predetermined budget and expenditure. Monitor and keep track of project progress and expenditures against forecasts. Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work. Assist in establishing a clients requirements and undertake feasibility studies. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze costing for tenders. Provide advice on contractual claims. Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports. Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks. Prepare and analyze costings for tenders. Contract Management: Allocate work to subcontractors. Provide advice on contractual claims. Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports. Client Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with clients. Act as the main point of contact for clients on all financial matters. Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with the legal requirements, particularly in relation to construction contracts. Keep track of changes to legislation and regulations and communicate these to relevant stakeholders. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other professionals, such as project managers, architects, and engineers, to ensure that all aspects of the project are coordinated effectively. Liaise with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
