Role Overview:As a Big Data Analyst at Paytm, you will be responsible for analyzing large-scale structured and unstructured data to develop deep-dive analysis and solve business problems. You will gather and process data from various sources, ensuring data quality through cleaning and defining pre-processing or feature engineering. Your role will involve utilizing statistical tools to identify patterns and trends, preparing reports and dashboards for management, and collaborating with data scientists on machine learning concepts.Key Responsibilities:- Analyze large-scale structured and unstructured data to develop deep-dive analysis for solving business problems.- Gather and process data from different sources, extracting valuable insights and information.- Verify data quality through data cleaning and define pre-processing or feature engineering on datasets.- Validate the correctness of features in datasets and identify patterns and trends using statistical tools.- Prepare reports and dashboards for management, showcasing trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.Qualifications Required:- 4 years hands-on experience in big data analytics.- Knowledge and ability to use Big data technologies such as PySpark, Hadoop, and Kafka, along with Cloud computing services in Azure/AWS/GCP.- Understanding of data modeling, software architecture, and data platforms.- Effective coding, documentation, and communication habits.- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and collaboration with data scientists.- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.- Familiarity with Linux.Additional Details:Paytm is Indias leading digital payments and financial services company, focused on driving consumers and merchants to its platform by offering a variety of payment use cases.
