Job Description

    Role Overview:You will be joining Adobes Document Cloud team as a Computer Scientist to lead Android development for the DC Acrobat Mobile Team. This role offers an opportunity to work on revolutionizing the way the world interacts with documents through innovative digital solutions.Key Responsibilities:- Own the vision for PDF workflows on Android, defining product features, crafting system architecture, and implementing standard methodologies to ensure a quality product.- Adapt to an agile environment, demonstrate a passion for mobile opportunities, and have a successful track record in delivering new features and products.- Possess a strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, mobile technologies, and hands-on experience in building customer-facing mobile products.- Design and build reliable, scalable, and high-performance products, with a focus on architecture and innovation in mobile applications.- Collaborate with the team to influence architecture and design decisions, encourage creativity and innovation, and mentor junior team members.- Stay updated on new technologies and advocate for their implementation in your work while sharing knowledge with peers.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors or Masters Degree in computer science/IT with a minimum of 5 years of Android development experience.- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java with a solid understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools.- Proven expertise in architecture and design for developing robust and innovative mobile applications.- Experience working on large codebases, writing and debugging multi-threaded & asynchronous code, and optimizing solutions for resource constraints of mobile devices.- Ability to innovate new features, influence architecture, and design decisions, and contribute at the feature level.- Continuous learning of new technologies and techniques, sharing knowledge with peers, and mentoring junior team members.Additional Details:The company, Adobe, is committed to creating exceptional employee experiences by valuing diversity, equal opportunity, and fostering a culture of innovation.
