Job Description

As a Software Engineer at Adobe Experience Cloud Mobile team, your role is integral in shaping the future of mobile experiences by designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-performance systems for large enterprises in multi-cloud/region environments. You will have the opportunity to participate in various service development activities, implement robust monitoring and incident response processes, identify performance bottlenecks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, personalized experiences across channels. Additionally, you will be involved in evolving test automation infrastructure, mentoring junior team members, and staying updated on recent trends and technologies.**Key Responsibilities:**- Participate in all aspects of service development activities including design, prioritisation, coding, code review, testing, bug fixing, and deployment.- Implement and maintain robust monitoring, alerting, and incident response for ensuring the highest level of uptime and Quality of Service.- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, continually improving the product and process.- Build and maintain detailed documentation for software architecture, design, and implementation.- Develop and evolve test automation infrastructure to ensure quality and end-to-end experience of products.- Collaborate with cross-functional professionals to resolve solutions and contribute to team activities like story mapping, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint planning/demos.- Work independently on delivering sophisticated functionality, fast prototyping of ideas, and research on recent trends and technologies.- Communicate clearly with the team and management to define & achieve goals.- Mentor and grow junior team members.**Qualifications Required:**- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent engineering degree.- 7 years of experience in crafting and developing web or software applications.- Strong communication and teamwork skills with dedication to team-work, self-organization, and continuous improvement.- Proven experience in backend development with expertise in languages such as Java, Node.js, or Python.- Experience in running cloud infrastructure with hands-on experience in AWS or Azure, Kubernetes, GitOps, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD.- Experience in setting up SLAs/SLOs/SLIs, establishing monitoring, and writing tests and test frameworks.- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.- Experience with Kafka and Zookeeper is a plus.- Experience with Mobile Application development is a plus.As a part of Adobe, you will be immersed in an exceptional work environment that values creativity, curiosity, and constant learning.
