Full Stack Developer - Python Software Testing

Job Description

You will play a crucial role in ideation, design, development, and deployment of web solutions aligned with the business objectives. Additionally, you will be responsible for designing and deploying Proof of Concepts (POCs) and Points of View (POVs) across various industry verticals. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate POC and upscaled solutions into cloud environments, particularly Azure, will also be one of your key responsibilities.Qualifications Required:- Minimum of 7 years of experience in full stack software development with expertise in backend development using Python and frontend development in React and/or Typescript. You should also have experience in system deployment, software architecture, and software testing.- Proficiency in Unit Testing, adherence to Python PEP8 Standards, and conducting Peer Programming/Code Reviews.- Strong understanding and practical experience in REST API designing, with hands-on experience using Fast API, Flask, etc.- Experience in Python testing frameworks and deployment knowledge on cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google.- Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipeline, along with expertise in Object-Oriented Concepts, Multithreading/Multiprocessing, Memory Management, Data structures, and Algorithms.- Hands-on experience with Databases such as PosgreSQL/MSSQL, including writing SQL queries and working with ORM Frameworks like SQL Alchemy.- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills in Client-side, Server-side, and Database.- Ability to design high-level and low-level architectures for software systems, familiarity with source code version management systems like Git, and a strong grasp of software engineering principles and fundamentals.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a passion for building software products.Desirable Qualifications:- Experience in contributing to the architecture/design of new or current applications, familiarity with cloud tools like Azure, and exposure to DevOps practices like CI/CD.- Knowledge in Generative AI applications software building, Streamlit/Plotly-Dash/NiceGUI, Kubernetes, Microservices, Browser rendering behavior, performance, Agile Methodology, NoSQL databases, Token Authentication Mechanisms (JWT, etc), Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science.- Relevant Azure Certifications will be an added advantage.Additionally, Mott MacDonald offers a flexible working environment to promote work-life balance and career flexibility for its employees.
