Job Description

    As an experienced professional with 7 years of experience, you will be responsible for the following key areas:Role Overview:You will be primarily involved in monitoring and incident response of Azure infrastructure, utilizing tools such as Azure Monitor, Splunk, DynaTrace, and custom dashboards. Your role will include responding to alerts, triaging P1/P2 escalations via ServiceNow war rooms, and ensuring incident/change/exception process adherence. Additionally, you will be responsible for capacity and availability management, backup and restore operations, access and permissions management, logging and metrics oversight, and basic performance testing.Key Responsibilities:- Provide 24/7 monitoring of Azure infrastructure using tools like Azure Monitor, Splunk, DynaTrace, etc.- Respond to alerts, triage escalations, and perform initial diagnosis and remediation.- Identify scaling opportunities, zone-redundancy patterns, and performance bottlenecks.- Execute frequent backups, perform restore tasks, and conduct backup verifications/tests.- Maintain file shares, set up access controls, adjust permissions, and perform identity/access reviews.- Oversee monitoring agents, collaborate with L3 for alert tuning, and ensure proper alert/metrics generation.- Execute routine performance checks, document anomalies, and escalate performance issues.Qualifications Required:- Proficient in reading and troubleshooting logs/metrics (Splunk, DynaTrace, Azure Monitor).- Familiarity with Azure Backup services, basic restore procedures, and file share permissions.- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow) and collaborating with technical teams.- Ability to follow runbooks, SOPs, and continuously update documentation in a central repository.- Familiarity with Epic implementations (on-prem/cloud) is a plus.Note: The JD does not contain any additional details about the company.,
