Job Description

    Role Overview:You will be part of a dynamic team at Iris Software, assisting in the upgrade of Java from version 8 to 17 and Spring Boot from version 1.5 to 3.2. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, test, and maintain high-quality code using Java and Spring Boot. Additionally, you will write unit tests using JUnit and Mockito and work with Apache Maven as a build tool. Your role will involve hands-on experience with Java 17, Spring Boot 3.2, and familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the upgrade of Java from version 8 to 17 and Spring Boot from version 1.5 to 3.2.- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality code using Java and Spring Boot.- Write unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.- Utilize Apache Maven as a build tool.- Collaborate with senior developers and team members to deliver software solutions.- Troubleshoot and debug applications.- Have a good understanding of software development best practices.- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Possess good communication and teamwork skills.Qualifications Required:- Rich experience with Java 17.- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot 3.2.- Proficiency in JUnit and Mockito for unit testing.- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.- Experience with circuit breaker patterns and caching techniques is a plus.- Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies is desirable.About Iris Software:Iris Software is committed to being the most trusted technology partner for clients and a top choice for industry professionals to realize their full potential.
