Job Description

    As a Medical Coder at R1 RCM India, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and compliant coding of medical records. Your responsibilities will include:- Assigning codes to diagnoses and procedures using ICD and CPT codes.- Following up with providers on incomplete or unclear documentation.- Communicating with clinical staff regarding documentation.- Researching complex or unusual coding cases.- Reviewing patient charts and documents for accuracy.- Ensuring all codes are current and active.To qualify for this role, you should have:- Any Graduate education background.- 3 to 7 years of experience in Medical Coding.- Certification from AHIMA or AAPC.- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.- Proficiency in assigning ICD-10 & CPT codes.- Excellent oral and written communication skills.- Ability to work independently.- Flexibility to work both in the office and remotely as needed.At R1 RCM India, we are dedicated to transforming the healthcare industry with our innovative revenue cycle management services.
