Job Description

    As an Engineering Manager at Adobe, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technology vision and delivery of services and components essential for the development of Adobe Campaign. You will collaborate closely with the product management team, engineering teams, and customers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality solutions. Cultivating innovation, ensuring good quality, and developing the right technology vision will be among your primary responsibilities.Your key duties will include mentoring and guiding a high-performing engineering team, collaborating with global product management and engineering leaders to influence technical product architecture, driving strategic decisions for successful project delivery, leading the technical design and implementation strategy, and developing execution plans to achieve the set vision. It is essential to apply best practices and coding patterns for maintainable and high-quality solutions, evolve engineering processes and teamwork models, and optimize team efficiency through creative problem-solving.To succeed in this role, you should have at least 10 years of experience in software development along with a proven track record in leadership or management roles. Proficiency in software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban, as well as experience in frontend technologies like React, GraphQL, and event-driven architectures, are required. A deep understanding of modern software architecture, cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure), version control, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code tools will be beneficial. Additionally, hands-on experience in scalability, performance tuning, and excellent communication, collaboration, and management skills are essential.Your passion for building high-quality software, improving engineering processes, and experience in hiring, coaching, and career development of software engineers will be key factors for success in this role.
