Portfolio Risk Manager

Job Description

As a Portfolio Risk Manager at a large EPCM organization, your role is crucial in overseeing and managing risks associated with a diverse portfolio of complex projects. You will collaborate closely with project managers, project teams, and the enterprise risk management function to identify, assess, mitigate, monitor, and report risks throughout the project lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining risk management structures, processes, and templates, providing training on risk management best practices, and conducting audits to escalate significant risks to management.**Key Responsibilities:**- Developing and implementing the risk management framework, methodology, and tools aligning with organizational standards.- Defining and communicating risk management roles and responsibilities for the portfolio.- Facilitating the identification, analysis, and treatment of risks for each project.- Preparing risk reports and dashboards, offering insights and recommendations.- Conducting regular risk audits and reviews, escalating significant risks to management.- Providing training and coaching on risk management principles and tools.- Keeping updated on risk management best practices and ensuring framework improvements.**Qualifications Required:**- Bachelors degree or higher in engineering, project management, or business administration.- Minimum of 9 years of experience in risk management, preferably in a large EPCM organization.- Track record of managing risks for diverse projects.- Knowledge of project management lifecycle, methodologies, and certification in risk management.- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.- Proficiency in risk management software and tools.By joining the company, you will be a part of a team focused on solving global challenges and shaping a more sustainable future.
