Product Owner ITSM domain mandatory

Job Description

In this role, as a Product Owner with 6 to 8 years of experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) domain, you will be responsible for leading scrum teams, managing multiple teams, and providing clear product vision and direction throughout the project lifecycle. Your key responsibilities will include:- Taking lead of scrum teams as the Product Owner and managing multiple scrum teams efficiently.- Providing a clear product vision and direction to Agile development teams and stakeholders, translating vision into well-defined requirements.- Ensuring the team always has a sufficient pipeline of well-prepared, prioritized work items (ready backlog).- Defining and elaborating Release Backlog, Product Feature Backlog, and driving end-to-end product development.- Preparing epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria based on client interactions, business needs, and technical inputs.- Assessing value, building business cases, and prioritizing epics, stories, and themes to maximize ROI and align with product strategy.- Owning backlog management, iteration planning, and continuous refinement of user stories.- Working closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog aligned to business value, outcomes, and ROI.- Leading product release planning, setting clear expectations for delivery of new capabilities and enhancements.- Taking ownership of end-to-end releases including release plans, backlogs, release notes, and user guides.- Actively identifying and mitigating risks, dependencies, and impediments impacting sprint and release goals.- Researching and analyzing market trends, user needs, product roadmap, and competitive landscape to inform product decisions.Additionally, the role requires strong ITSM experience with hands-on understanding of Service Desk (SD), Incident Management (IM), and Problem Management (PM) processes. You should be able to translate ITSM workflows into product features, automation use cases, and backlog items.
