QA Lead Automation Engineer

Job Description

As a Lead QA Engineer at Iris Software, you will have the opportunity to lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA Engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, high performance, and accountability. You will champion best practices in testing methodologies and quality assurance across the team.Key Responsibilities:- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA Engineers- Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and career development planning- Champion best practices in testing methodologies and quality assurance- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automated test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript- Drive the integration of automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline- Monitor, analyze, and report on automation test results- Stay abreast of the latest developments in Playwright and TypeScript ecosystems- Implement strategies for effective test data management within automation frameworks- Hands-on experience integrating automated test suites into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelinesQualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field- 5 years of progressive experience in QA, with at least 2 years in a lead or managerial role- Expert-level proficiency in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, specifically integrating and managing automated tests within Azure DevOps- Deep understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes within an Agile/Scrum environment- Proven ability to strategize, plan, and execute testing for complex software systems- Outstanding written and verbal communication skillsAdditional Details:Iris Software is one of the fastest-growing IT services companies with over 4,300 associates across India, U.S.A, and Canada.
