Job Description

    As a Senior Software Development Engineer 2 (SDE-2) based in Noida Sec-62, you will play a crucial role in our backend engineering team. Your primary responsibility will involve designing and delivering scalable and high-performance backend solutions. Your expertise will be vital in providing technical leadership, guiding junior engineers, and collaborating effectively across teams to ensure the development of robust, reliable, and efficient software systems.Your main responsibilities will include leading the design, development, and deployment of scalable backend applications and services. You will be tasked with architecting complex microservices-based solutions that are both maintainable and reliable while ensuring optimal performance. Setting technical direction and best practices for the team, mentoring junior engineers, and fostering a collaborative work environment will be key aspects of your role. Additionally, you will be responsible for building and maintaining efficient, secure, and well-documented APIs, driving end-to-end CI/CD processes using Docker and Jenkins, and deploying containerized applications with Kubernetes to guarantee optimal performance and scalability.Monitoring and optimizing system performance using tools like Datadog, proactively identifying and resolving issues, working extensively with MongoDB, Redis, and Kafka for advanced data management and real-time streaming, conducting thorough code reviews to maintain a high standard of code quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for timely and high-quality releases are all integral parts of your responsibilities.To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Masters degree would be considered a plus. With at least 3 years of hands-on software development experience and expertise in backend architecture, you should be proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript. Extensive experience with Golang in production environments, deep expertise in MongoDB, Redis, and Kafka including performance tuning and troubleshooting, hands-on experience with Docker, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines, proficiency in Kubernetes for managing containerized applications at scale, and experience in Datadog or similar tools for system monitoring and optimization are essential requirements.Additionally, familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, knowledge of the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills will be beneficial for your success in this role.
