Job Description

    As a Senior Software Development Engineer 2 (SDE-2) at our company, you will play a crucial role in architecting and delivering scalable, high-performance backend solutions. Your responsibilities will include leading the design, development, and deployment of scalable backend applications and services, setting technical direction and best practices for the team, building and maintaining efficient APIs, driving end-to-end CI/CD processes, deploying and managing containerized applications with Kubernetes, monitoring and optimizing system performance, working extensively with MongoDB, Redis, and Kafka, conducting code reviews, collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting production issues, staying updated with emerging technologies, and driving innovation within the team.Key Responsibilities:- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable backend applications and services.- Architect complex microservices-based solutions that are maintainable, reliable, and performant.- Set technical direction and best practices for the team; mentor and support junior engineers.- Build and maintain efficient, secure, and well-documented APIs.- Drive end-to-end CI/CD processes using Docker and Jenkins.- Deploy and manage containerized applications with Kubernetes, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.- Monitor and optimize system performance using tools like Datadog; proactively identify and resolve issues.- Work extensively with MongoDB, Redis, and Kafka for advanced data management and real-time streaming.- Conduct thorough code reviews and contribute to maintaining a high standard of code quality.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, and QA to ensure timely and high-quality releases.- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently, implementing preventative solutions.- Stay updated with emerging technologies and continuously drive innovation within the team.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Masters degree is a plus).- 3 years of hands-on software development experience with strong backend architecture skills.- Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.- Extensive experience with Golang in production environments.- Deep expertise in MongoDB, Redis, and Kafka, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.- Hands-on experience with Docker, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.- Proficiency in Kubernetes for managing containerized applications at scale.- Experience in Datadog or similar tools for system monitoring and optimization.- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.- Knowledge of the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) is a plus.- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.,
