Job Description

    As an Electrical Sub-station Site In-charge, your role involves supervising civil and electrical works with 8-10 years of relevant experience. Ideally, you should have 5 years of experience in HVDC/FACTS sub-station projects. Your responsibilities during the OTR phase include:- Overall supervision of civil and installation works.- Acting as the main point of contact for operational aspects of all site subcontracts.- Ensuring implementation of EHS guidelines and customers requirements.- Planning C&C activities within the project schedule for on-time delivery.- Reporting unsafe practices and deviations to the Site Manager.- Maintaining progress reporting and dashboards for project management.- Monitoring site establishment cost, housekeeping, and security of materials.- Developing red markup drawings and maintaining client relationships.In terms of personnel management, you will lead and manage construction site teams to meet performance standards and project goals. Additionally, you will provide feedback on skills and know-how to superiors for staff deployed at construction sites.Regarding health and safety, you are expected to demonstrate EHS leadership, enforce the STOP-WORK POLICY, and ensure compliance with GE GRID EHS policies. You will actively participate in Gemba Walks, identify EHS risks, and lead improvement initiatives on construction sites.For quality assurance, you must adhere to quality procedures, report non-conformities promptly, and ensure construction activities meet customer satisfaction and GE standards. You will also collect key information for Lessons Learned and contribute to improvement actions for construction processes.Qualifications and Skills:- A relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering with 8-10 years of experience, preferably in HVDC projects.- Basic knowledge of high-voltage DC construction and commissioning works.- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead work teams effectively.Experience:- Proven experience as a Site Manager.- Proficiency in civil works, building services, HV and MV equipment, control systems, and commissioning.- Familiarity with international standards, environmental regulations, and best practices in construction.- Proficiency in English.*Additional Information*:Relocation Assistance Provided: No As an Electrical Sub-station Site In-charge, your role involves supervising civil and electrical works with 8-10 years of relevant experience.
