Job Description

    As a Software Engineer of the Infrastructure Delivery Engineering (IDE) team, you will play a vital role in automating and speeding up infrastructure delivery processes. Your primary focus will be on leading essential functions of our Cloud business, particularly in the design, delivery, and continuous support of Oracle APEX Applications.To excel in this role, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced APEX engineer who thrives on solving problems using innovative approaches. You should be adept at navigating dynamic environments and collaborating with stakeholders to determine the minimal viable product for swift deployment of new technological solutions.Ideal candidates will possess a BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience related to the functional area. You should have a strong command of Oracle APEX and SQL/PLSQL, backed by at least 3 years of hands-on experience. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for APEX development and the ability to build Java API integrations with APEX are highly desirable. Proficiency in JavaScript and CSS is crucial for optimizing performance and ensuring application robustness.Additionally, demonstrable expertise in data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals is required. Experience with cloud technologies is advantageous, particularly in understanding critical IaaS services like Compute, Block Storage, and Networking. Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills are essential for this role.As an IC3 level member of the software engineering division, your responsibilities will involve contributing to the definition and development of software for tasks related to software application development, debugging, or design.
