Role Overview:At Oracle Health, you will play a crucial role in transforming healthcare by modernizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Your mission will be to empower front-line healthcare professionals, enabling them to focus more on patient care with the support of generative AI and modernized applications. By leveraging cutting-edge AI capabilities and state-of-the-art applications, you will enhance efficiency and effectiveness in healthcare delivery.Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement intuitive and seamless customer experiences.- Lead efforts in designing and building scalable, distributed, and resilient software components and services to support health care platform, applications, and end users.- Work closely with architects, principals, product and program managers to deliver product features on time and with high quality.- Mentor and empower other engineers while thinking long term and taking ownership.- Collaborate with geographically distributed teams to deliver basic functionality and iterate rapidly.- Utilize Agile methodologies, especially Scrum, and experience using ticket tracking systems such as JIRA.- Quickly translate wireframes into prototypes and production-ready interfaces.Qualifications Required:- BS degree in Computer Science or related field (MS preferred).- 7 years of distributed service engineering experience in a software development environment.- Expertise in Java and deep understanding of object-oriented design and SDK development, particularly within a cloud environment.- Strong skills in data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.- Experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures.- Familiarity with containers and container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).- Good understanding of databases, NoSQL systems, storage, and distributed persistence technologies.- Knowledge of Linux, OCI or AWS, Azure, GCP, Public Cloud SaaS, PaaS Services, and related technology.- Good to have experience with Cloud Engineering Infrastructure Development (like Terraform) and technical leadership and mentorship skills.- Knowledge of other programming languages such as Kotlin, C, C# is a plus.(Note: Any additional details of the company were not explicitly mentioned in the job description provided.)
