Job Description

    As a Backend/API Developer at Equipped, you will be a part of the Minerva Development Team located in Sector 16, Noida. Equipped is a global analytical intelligence company that collaborates with leading financial services entities to offer actionable insights through data science and technology. Our cutting-edge intelligence platform, Minerva, equips businesses with smart tools to gather, organize, analyze, and comprehend data for making crucial decisions and achieving desired outcomes.Your role as a Senior Node.js Backend Developer will entail developing backend services and APIs, overseeing databases like MySQL, SQLServer, and MongoDB, and possessing expertise in microservices architecture. Proficiency in working with a public cloud (preferably Azure) is an added advantage. The primary focus will be on designing and constructing enterprise-grade commercial SaaS products using the latest cloud-native tools and technologies.Your responsibilities will include taking ownership of technical decisions for various projects, conducting technical feasibility analysis specific to Node.js, developing secure Node.js Core Web APIs following Microservice Architecture, creating reusable code and libraries, optimizing code for performance, and collaborating with team members and stakeholders. You should hold a B. Tech/ MCA degree from a reputable institute/university with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.In terms of technical knowledge, you should be well-versed in working with microservices, test-driven development using XUnit/NUnit, Node.js, Express.js, MySQL, SQLServer, MongoDB, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or CircleCI, Git, unit testing frameworks like Mocha, Jest, or Chai, and Agile development methodologies. Familiarity with No-SQL databases like Azure Cosmos Document and Graph DB will be beneficial. Proficiency in design patterns is a plus.Your core competencies should include collaboration, building trust, problem-solving, service excellence, lateral thinking, influencing, and inspiring. As a professional, you should exhibit attributes such as a desire to create impactful solutions, a positive and solutions-oriented mindset, high motivation, resilience, adaptability, proactiveness, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, focus, hard work, ability to work under pressure, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within deadlines.,
