Job Description

    In this role as a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support and guidance to Market Area domain teams and Customer Units (CUs) within the Packet Core domain in the Global Presales Excellence Center (GPEC). Your main focus will be on collaborating closely with regional colleagues to analyze customer RFx and develop tailored solutions. You will also be encouraged to participate in knowledge-sharing activities and mentor team members to enhance overall competence.**Key Responsibilities:**- Deliver high-quality responses to RFPs and tenders within specified deadlines.- Take ownership of bid responses within designated areas.- Review RFP requirements thoroughly and initiate clarifications and responses relevant to assigned domains.- Engage with regional counterparts to facilitate discussions related to RFP matters.- Serve as the solution expert for Packet Core within the GPEC.- Identify and document all assumptions and risks when presenting technical solutions to customers.- Support Engagement Lead or Solution Manager in bid acceptance phases.- Strengthen expertise in Packet Core domain products.- Promote knowledge sharing and efficient utilization of the document repository.- Provide recommendations for TCO optimization to Market Area stakeholders.- Maintain effective communication with Sales Support Teams and related support organizations.- Assume responsibility for various activities and deliverables when preparing proposals.In this position, you will need to have a strong understanding of general Packet Core solutions for 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks, as well as deep knowledge in Packet Core products and solutions. Familiarity with Ericsson Packet Core products, dimensioning, and product configuration tools will be advantageous. Additionally, knowledge of interfaces/protocols with MSS, IMS, and UDC nodes, along with NFVI/Virtualization and Cloud Native concepts, will be valuable.**Key Qualifications:**- Education: Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunication/Electronics or equivalent university degree.- Experience: 4 to 9 years of relevant work experience.In terms of human competence, you should be a quick learner with strong teamwork abilities, excel under pressure, and deliver high-quality outcomes. Being enthusiastic, motivated, and proactive in taking ownership, having a strong customer focus, effective presentation and communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently with high self-motivation are essential. An innovative mindset with the ability to identify new opportunities will be beneficial in this role.
